Another question inspired a new Notfrombrazil episode. Before I decided to finish the project as a graphic novel Polly and the Black Ink was intended to be a 48-page Children’s books. My students became older and turned out to be superheroes, so did Polly. She got older, smarter and stronger.
Do you have a question about my art or process that you would like to see answered in a NFB style? Or… What would you ask me if we met? (Click on the title to comment).

Yup, like we would say back in Portugal. He has a Doctor’s handwriting. This comic was inspired by my fan ShutterGet (thank you guys for all your support) I can’t believe I reached 167.7 K of views and have more than 900 subscribers at Line Webtoon platform.

The question was: “How I came up with my style? (doodling or trying to emulate an artist I love)”
I’m a huge fan of studio ghibli and nonsense animes like Hare Nochi Guu and I’ve always kept their body language in my memory. I look it up sometimes for reference. I’ve also been drawing Not From Brazil, Polly and the Black Ink and also, taking commissions in that style daily. So I am always practicing. It took me a year to find my style and stick to it.

Do you have a question about my art process that you would like to be answered in NFB style? Go ahead and leave a comment.

It was the middle of his solo… why? WHY?
Because I’m cheap and I didn’t buy all these musicals that I have on the playlist… that’s why.  #music #apps #commercials #webcomic #funny #sliceoflife #lifeofanartist #comics #freecartoons #comicpages #spotify

Sometimes I find myself performing CPR to a sink.

Quick tip: Wipe the brush on a rag or paper before washing. This will keep your brushes alive for longer and your sink unclogged. It didn’t happen to me now, but it happened when I was a student and started to paint with oils. After taking all of the paint you can then rinse it with water and soap. Leave a bit of the soap on the brush to keep the brush hairstyle in place and store it facing the hairs up. Brushes are not brooms.
